Value Added Reseller Agreement

Overview
- The Value-Added Reseller Agreement grants a reseller the right to market a developer's software in combination with other products.
- The Value-Added Reseller Agreement establishes the terms for a software developer to provide its programs to a reseller, who then combines the programs with other software or hardware.  The combinations are then marketed as "value-added" products.
- Regardless of what the marketing organization calls itself, make sure that the agreement properly sets forth all the terms regarding the marketing of the software.
- Developers that have invested great time, resources and money in the development of the software do not want to fail to properly market the software, or possibly even lose their property rights, due to an inappropriate agreement.
