Software Distribution Agreement


Overview
- The Software Distribution Agreement allows a software developer to distribute pre-packaged software through an independent distributor.
- Prepackaged software may be distributed through a number of channels.  A developer may sell directly to end-users through direct mail or toll free order desks, it may sell directly to a retailer, or may distribute to a retailer through a third party.  
- This Distribution Agreement establishes an arrangement between a developer and an independent distributor for resale of the software to dealers and retailers.

When You Need It
- To arrange for broad distribution of pre-packaged software.  
- The form provides for a non-exclusive distribution arrangement, and the distributor is not limited to any particular territory.


Getting Started

You will need:
- Name and address of developer.
- Name and address of distributor.
- Description of software product(s) to be distributed under this agreement.
- Details of handling inventory, payment terms, and the length of the agreement.
