Talent/Model Release

Overview
- The Talent/Model Release is signed by an individual to acknowledge consent to the use of the individual's picture in connection with advertising a product or service.
- Even if you secure the rights of the person in the picture for advertising and promotion purposes, you will still need the photographer's consent to reprint the picture.
- Use of someone's likeness without consent may constitute an invasion of privacy, and subject the user to payment of damages.  The user may also become obligated to pay damages for lost income if the individual in the picture is a professional model.
- This is a one time release granted for use of the likeness with a specific product or service.  The rights are granted to the company selling the product or service, not to the photographer.
- If the person in picture is a child (not yet 18 years of age), you should also have the child's parent or guardian acknowledge consent.
