Subcontractor Agreement


Overview
- This Agreement is used to details the products and/or services a Subcontractor will provide to a General Contractor is a situation where the General Contractor has a separate Agreement with an Owner of a project.  
- This Agreement is used most often in a construction context, but can be easily modified for use in other types of businesses.

When You Need It
- If you are a Subcontractor providing products and/or services to for a General Contractor.
- If you are a General Contractor on a project and wish to contract with a Subcontractor to provide some or all of the work.


Getting Started
- You will need the name and full address of the individual or company who is acting as the General Contractor.
- You will need the name and full address of the individual or company who is acting as the Subcontractor.
- You will need the name and full address of the Owner of the project as well as a copy of the original Agreement between the Owner and the General Contractor.
- You will need detailed information about the products and/or services to be provided by the Subcontractor, including payment terms and completion dates.

When to Review and Revise 
- Change in conditions or terms of the Agreement before it is signed.
- Change in conditions or terms of the Agreement after it is signed.
- Performing similar services at a new project site on similar terms.
