Notice of Contract Assignment


Overview
This Notice of Contract Assignment is used to inform another party to a contract that rights and obligations in that contract have been assigned to someone else.

When You Need It
-This Notice is used to formally tell a party to a contract that contract rights have assigned.  
-The assignment of a contract is itself a contract.  Like any contract, it should be in writing.  Home and Business Attorney includes an Assignment of Contract form to help you properly document the assignment.

Getting Started

You will need:
-The name and address of the individual or company who is to receive the Notice.
-The name and address of the individual or company to whom the contract is being assigned.
-The title and date of the contract being assigned.
-The date the assignment is effective.

When to Review and Revise 
-If the terms of the assignment have changed or been terminated.
-If you assign certain rights to another individual or company.
