- This document together with the Consent to Appointment as Registered Agent and the appropriate filing fee must be filed with your chosen state in order to organize a limited liability company.
- While it is not necessary to hire a lawyer to form a new limited liability company, it is highly recommended.  A lawyer can help you determine the appropriate state for formation of your limited liability company and can help you identify particular matters that should be addressed in the articles of organization and other documents.

When You Need It

Getting Started

You will need:
- Name and address of the limited liability company being formed and state where it is being formed.
- Name and address of each member and the amount of each member's capital contribution.
- Name and address of your registered agent.
